NIGERIAN WOMAN SUFFERED RACIST ATTACK IN NORTHERN IRELAND

Nigerian Woman Terrified By Racist Attack In Northern Ireland
A Nigerian woman residing in Belfast, Northern Ireland, believes a racist attack was orchestrated against her.

The woman, Adenike Yisa, was at home with her two children. In the early morning hours, she heard a loud sound, and a hatchet smashed through the window of her living room.
At first, she thought she heard a shot, but then she saw an "axe or hatchet," and a big hole in the window.

She says she was screaming at the top of her lungs and shaking of fear. Both her children were in their rooms, but no one was hurt.

Yisa moved into the house about a year ago, and never had any trouble. Although she did not see the actual doer, she suspects the colour of her skin has something to do with the incident.
Yisa is "really upset," and says she has never experienced anything like that before.
The police officers who are investigating the incident are said to be treating it as a hate crime.
