FARMER SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS FOR RAPING 8-YEAR-OLD IN JIGAWA

 

A 25-year-old farmer, Umar Yakubu, was sentenced, to 15 years imprisonment, without an option of fine, by Hadejia High Court for raping an 8-year-old girl, Wednesday, Jigawa .

Umar Yakubu was dragged before the court by the police in 2012 on one count charge of rape, contrary to section 282 of the Penal Code.

The man was accused of having canal knowledge of an 8-year-old girl (name withheld), at Dingare Village in Kaugama Local Government area of the state.

Delivering judgement, Justice Ubale Ahmed, said that Yakubu was convicted and sentenced under section 283 of the penal code based on evidences and his submissions before the court.

The judge said the court was convinced beyond reasonable doubt that he was guilty as charged.
Ahmed added that the court passed the verdict to serve as deterrent to others, and to check the spate of rape and other forms of abuses against children in the society.

The judge called on parents to be vigilant and monitor their wards to protect them from abuses.




 

WICKEDNESS: 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL RAPED GIRL ESCAPES DEATH BY DIGGING HER WAY OUT OF GRAVE

 

Reported incident - which police allegedly refused to investigate - is latest in series of sexual assaults on children in Pakistan.

A 13-year-old girl has survived after she was raped and buried alive by two men in Pakistan.
The girl was able to dig herself out of a shallow roadside grave once she had been left for dead by her attackers, who believed their sexual assault had killed her.

The teenager had been on her way to Koran lessons in the Tobe Tek Singh district of Punjab province when she was abducted by the two men.

They took her to a remote place, raped her until she passed out and then buried her.
When she had regained consciousness she was able to dig her way to the surface and raise the alarm.
The girl’s father then went to the police, but they reportedly refused to cooperate or launch an investigation.

The Lahore High Court Chief Justice’s Complaint Cell has now intervened, ordering that the incident be looked into by a district judge and instructing police to arrest the alleged attackers and submit a report.

Pakistan has seen a recent focus on the issue of child rape after a series of high profiles incidents.
The government does not release regularly updated statistics on the extent of child sexual abuse across the country, but the activist group Sahil – based in Islamabad – said cases of child sexual abuse covered by the media grew from 668 in 2002 to 2,788 in 2012.

“We still think these statistics are just a fraction of what’s going on,” said Manizeh Bano, the group’s executive director.

Few weeks ago, a popular Lagos-based soft-sell magazine published an interview granted by a man of God, Pastor Anene Nwachukwu of Rhema Deliverance Mission, where he stated that Prophet Chris Okafor of Liberation City in Lagos imitated him, and termed him as ‘his boy’, who he knows very well.

However, Okafor has denied ever knowing Anene and has vowed to give him N5 million if he (Anene) can prove to the world that they met before.

Anene had reportedly said in the interview that, “when I was preaching on MITV, Chris Okafor came there to meet me, Nonye Osy (the show presenter) is a witness, you can interview her about this.”

Reacting to Anene’s claim through his publicist, Okafor said there is no iota of truth in what Anene said. “Dr Chris Okafor had not at anytime met with this pastor,” the publicist, Sunday Adeyemi, said in a statement made available to newsmen.

He added that, “if this pastor has any evidences to prove, he should present it either through camera or photo or otherwise and he will be rewarded handsomely.”

Adeyemi also stated that, “we are not set to fight anybody on this issue, but we want to set the record straight that Okafor is not mentoring this said pastor in the vineyard.”
He disclosed that Christianity is not about fighting or pulling down another man of God.”

Clara Chime, the First Lady of Enugu State, says Governor Sullivan Chime, has placed her under house arrest, and has cried out for help to human rights bodies to come to her rescue immediately.

In a letter dripping with pain and suffering, Mrs. Chime (pictured above with Governor Chime) disclosed that she married Mr. Chime in Oct. 2008 but revealed that she has not been able to sleep with him for over four years.
Describing her desperate situation, she said that even President Goodluck Jonathan and First Lady Patience Jonathan have intervened with her husband without success.

“My father is late, my Mum and few of my siblings are confused and have done all kinds of prayers they know of. 3 of my siblings prefers me dead than to see me leave the Government house. He treats my Mum and my siblings bad,” she wrote.

The Enugu State First Lady said she has been introduced to two psychiatrists whose names she gave as Dr. Onwukwe and Dr. Agumo, who have prescribed “all kinds of drugs that ends up keeping me acute depressed and also drives me into hallucinations.”

The doctors, she noted, are scared of her husband the Governor, to whom nobody can tell the truth.
According to the letter, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu state (Callistus Onaga), and top priests have come to intervene, as have the President and the First Lady of the nation, without success.

Mrs. Chime further complains that Governor Chime has ordered her to leave with her four-year old son whom she conceived before their wedding. However, the governor, according to her, later threatened to disown the boy should she leave with him.

“He has told everyone he can reach that there is no marriage between us that I can leave if I wish to but whenever I plan to leave he instructs them to lock me in. I have told him through Sms that I will leave my son behind and leave alone but still he instructed his securities to lock me inside the house.”

Mrs. Chime further complains she has lost touch with the real world and all that makes her beautiful because of the side effects of the drugs she is taking, stressing that she is under house arrest for committing no crime.

Of the situation in Government House, she said, “He does not take care of me personally, the government gives me allowance to run the house and that’s where I save little from to take care of my self, my Mum and few of my siblings. He shut me out of his life years ago; I don’t have access to his apartment. The problem is enormous; I don’t know where to start to explain from.”

She said that even the security detail in the lodge has resorted to praying for her, while the few that can be bought with money are taking advantage of the situation.

“Police and SS men have been instructed by Gov Sullivan Chime to confine me in a place for a long time now against my wish [but] it is my wish to leave this premises,” she said, begging, “Please assist me to reach to the human rights and say to them to please come hastily and release me.”

JOBS FOR SALE: BANKING SECTOR JOB SCAM

 

 

Sometime in 1986, the then minister for labour and productivity, then Rear Admiral Patrick Sebo Koshoni, during his ministerial press briefing announced that about one million Nigerians were unemployed.

Even at that time, the figure he gave was regarded as an under estimation of the problem of unemployment which became visible in many Nigerian homes about three years earlier.

Indeed, during the last days of the civilian presidency of President Aliyu Usman Shehu Shagari the problem grew fangs, but it was the government of military president Ibrahim Babagida that officially took steps to address the issue of unemployment especially among the youths.

The Babagida administration through his ministers of labour sought and got the assistance of the International Labour Organisation to create jobs in the informal sector. The consequence of which was the setting up of the National Directorate of Employment to create jobs in the informal sector.

Apart from this, another minister of labour in the Babagida administration, then Brigadier-General Ike Nwachukwu, during a ministerial briefing called on banks to use part of the huge profits to engage a number of young graduates. All of these efforts didn’t do much to tackle the unemployment problem as it got compounded with the high number of graduates turned out by the universities.

The influx of foreign investors into Nigeria did not stem the tide of unemployment either. Rather, it was the era in which Nigerians were subjected to the worst working conditions in the name of attracting foreign investors. Many of these so-called investors have subjected Nigerians to dehumanizing working conditions.

The Ikorodu factory fire of 2002 in which workers were roasted comes to mind. That wasn’t an isolated case. A particular company owned by the Chinese located in Ogba Lagos, had its machine chop off hands and fingers of employees and the organization has not been sanctioned in any form.

It was also an era in which the so-called “ New Generation Banks” came into business. Banks pretending to be doing business in a manner unknown to the older banks. These ‘ new generation banks’ barred their employees from trade union activities. They also do not belong to the Nigeria Bankers Employers Group or even the Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA).

It was and still is a culture of impunity.

Even with the pretensions to new ways of banking, they are not known to have created jobs that have been of any significant impact on the economy.

Since inception, President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration has been accused of impunity, usually caused by decisions and actions of the President, including those of his ministers and close associates.

Most of the glaring cases of abuse of power including reckless spending of taxpayers’ money have been carried out by the women in Jonathan’s cabinet. These women have proven to be more powerful than the number one citizen of Nigeria because despite public outcries that greet some of their decisions, they go scot-free.
Those who fall in this seemingly untouchable category are the First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan; the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke; the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Ms. Arunma Oteh; and the Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah.
These powerful women have some things in common. They are all from the South-East and South-South geopolitical zones.

Four of them had their higher education in the United States and two of them are daughters of traditional rulers. Needless to say they occupy some of the most strategic and ‘lucrative’ positions in the Federal Government.




 

AUTHORITIES UNABLE TO DEPORT VIOLENT GANG LEADER DUE TO HIS LONDON ACCENT

A notorious gang ‘general’ who poses a ‘serious threat to the public’ could be back on Britain’s streets within months because ministers have failed to have him deported.

Joland Giwa, whose street name is Dexter, led a campaign of terror on the streets of Croydon, South London, and is ready ‘at any time to use knives and weapons’, police say.

He was thought to be from Nigeria or Sierra Leone, but both countries refuse to accept he is one of theirs and linguists have now said he has a strong London accent, despite finding that he used English spoken in Nigeria.
In a gangster-style YouTube video, he is seen boasting about having stabbed a man ‘in the f****** head’ and threatening to attack other gangs who intrude on his territory.

He has been held since 2009 when he finished a jail sentence, but immigration officials have failed to secure him a passport because of the two African countries’ refusal

Yesterday a judge ruled that immigration officials had three months to get him travel documents and if they failed Giwa should be released.

In court papers seen by the Daily Telegraph, it was found that he had ‘complicated’ speech patterns and ‘south London English’.
Critics said the ‘ridiculous’ case demonstrated Britain’s powerlessness to remove foreign criminals living here illegally. Tory MP Douglas Carswell said: ‘A thug on the streets of south London who is terrorising innocent Londoners and who is not even in the country legally should be removed.’

Giwa, 24, is the self-proclaimed ‘general’ in charge of the Don’t Say Nothing gang – known as DSN – with a string of convictions for theft and robbery.

In 2007, the DSN gang was behind a surge in violence on the streets of Croydon which saw stabbings, shootings and murder, police say. Officers linked Giwa to at least 99 incidents of criminal or anti-social behaviour.

AVIATION WORKERS THREATENING TO GO ON STRIKE

 

 

Aviation workers have threatened to protest against the purchase of two armoured cars by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority for the Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah.
The NCAA had reportedly paid about N255m for two bulletproof BMW 760 Li cars.

The NCAA, while appearing before the House of Representatives Committee on Aviation in Abuja on Thursday, admitted that the Ministry of Aviation approved the purchase of the cars for Oduah.

The Director of Aerodrome, NCAA, Mr. Joyce Nkem-Akonam, who handled the transaction as the acting Managing Director of the NCAA, told the committee that the agency breached no law, as “leased financing, not direct financing, was adopted to procure the vehicles.”

Speaking to one of our correspondents on Friday, the National President, Air Transport Service Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, Benjamin Okewu, however said the association did not buy NCAA’s explanation and would hold a meeting next week to conclude its plans on the protest.

According to him, other labour unions and civil society groups have been lobbying aviation workers to join them in a mass protest.

Okewu said, “What we are talking about is between now and Wednesday. We should have had the meeting and taken a decision on what to do.”

The General Secretary, National Union of Air Transport Employees, Abdulkareem Motajo, in a separate interview, confirmed that associations in the sector were making plans to protest against corruption in the aviation ministry.

“All the three unions in the industry are doing the same thing; we are leading the fight together and we will not relent until we ensure that everything is put in order. We are working together,” Motajo said.

Apart from the corruption in the industry, the workers are angry that the Federal Government is bent on punishing the whistle-blower who revealed the scandalous car transaction to the media. The unions argued that what the informant did was for public good.

The Federal Government had announced its manhunt for those who leaked official information on the bulletproof cars, but Okewu noted that the Freedom of Information Act protected such persons.
He said, “Let them (FG) try anything, we’ll tell them that we are in charge.”

Similarly, Motajo said the person who leaked the information deserved a national honour.
He said the individual should be given a national award “for exposing what Nigerians have seen as a risk to their common wealth.”

He added that the informant had the cover of the Freedom of Information Act.

“The unions are waiting to see any action that will be taken against such a person. We demand that the National Assembly and the Federal Government should give a national award to such a person, instead of sacking him or her. The union will never allow anybody to be sent out as a result of divulging this information.”

Meanwhile, SUNDAY PUNCH authoritatively gathered on Friday that the Presidency is angry with Oduah for the leakage of her explanation of the car purchase to the media before the President got his copy.

Oduah in her explanation claimed that she committed no crime in the matter that had attracted public outcry forcing President Goodluck Jonathan to constitute a three-man panel to probe her.
Jonathan was in Israel for the ongoing Christian pilgrimage when the minister’s response was published.

The Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Mr. Ahmed Gulak, told one of our correspondents that Oduah should have kept silent and allowed the panel set up by the President to carry out its assignment.

“If I were her (the minister), I would be silent until the committee set up by the President to probe the matter finishes its job,” he said.

When asked specifically if it was true that the Presidency was not happy with the minister for allowing her response go public, he replied, “That was why I told you that if I was in her shoes, I would have kept quiet and allowed the committee do its job.”

In a related development, investigations carried out by SUNDAY PUNCH have revealed that the police have no record of any complaint about threat to the life of the minister.

The minister had claimed that she authorised the purchase of the two armoured cars on account of threat to her life because of the reforms she was carrying out in the aviation sector. However, findings indicated that no formal report about the alleged threat was lodged with the police.

Police sources told our correspondent in Abuja on Friday that the Force would have taken such a matter seriously, if Oduah had lodged a report about threats to her life.

“The minister reportedly said her life was under threat, but she didn’t lodge any complaint to the police; we can’t find anything in our record about the reported threat; there was no petition or complaint that we could have worked with, if indeed her life was under threat as she claimed,” a senior police officer who pleaded anonymity stated.

Further findings showed that none of the ministers had requested additional protection or additional personnel from security agencies in the past months.

The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Frank Mba, could not be reached for comments as he was said to be out of the country on an official assignment, while Assistant Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Inyang, declined to speak on the matter.

SUNDAY PUNCH further learnt that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, on Saturday, asked NCAA officials to tender documents of the BMW cars purchased before it.

“That’s the first step, we need to see the documents before inviting everyone involved in the deal,” a top official of the EFCC, who pleaded anonymity, said on Saturday.

Jonathan had on Wednesday succumbed to pressure mounted on him by Nigerians and other stakeholders on the purchase of the bulletproof cars by instituting a probe into the matter.

The President’s decision came less than 24 hours after members of the House of Representatives ordered an investigation into the matter.

Oduah, who has been under public criticism for the cars, on Wednesday departed for Israel where the President is also observing pilgrimage. There have been reports that her Israel trip was an attempt by the minister to lobby Jonathan to retain her job.

The Presidency had, however, said Oduah was in Israel to sign a bilateral services agreement on behalf of Nigeria with Israel.

The minister played a prominent role during the 2011 campaign for Jonathan’s presidency.





 

CHRIS NGIGE SLAPS A CATHOLIC REVEREND FATHER, ASKS HIS AIDS TO BEAT HIM UP AFTERWARDS

 

As the November 16, 2013 gubernatorial election draws nearer, the APC candidate, Senator Chris Ngige has embroiled himself in unwanted controversy following allegations that he slapped a Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Evaristus Ezekwona at a burial ceremony in Nanka, Agulu, Anambra State on Thursday.

Senator Ngige was said to have become furious when he erroneously concluded that Rev. Fr. Ezekwona was deliberately standing in his way and suddenly snapped, pouncing on the hapless priest, strangling him first and then unleashing a torrent of slaps on both sides of the clergy man’s face.
The incident took place at the at the burial of the mother of the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Bishop Paulinus Ezeokafor in Nanka which attracted prominent sons and daughter the state including politicians.

An eye witness, Obiora Onwuama, who observed the scuffle, revealed that after unleashing his fury on Rev. Fr. Ezekwona, Ngige was not fully satisfied and promptly instructed his personal aides to torture him and they promptly pounced and inflicted more bodily injuries on him.

“We were all horrified at the sight. Senator Ngige must have acted blindly because the man was dressed in his cassock. There were screams of shock and horror from the onlookers but Senator Ngige could not be stopped. He must have mistaken Fr. Evaristus for a member of the opposition party,” Onwuama explained in total disbelief.

According to him, the earlier assumption that Senator Ngige may have acted in error soon gave way to a deeper fear when upon his instruction, his aides descended heavily on the hapless priest, punching and kicking him to the consternation of onlookers.
The APC gubernatorial candidate seems
to be courting controversy with ease in recent times starting with his ill-conceived statement justifying the deportation of 79 Igbos from Lagos to the poorly timed kick-off of his campaign rally in Onitsha on the same day that the Ofala Festival was taking place which provoked the anger of the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe and his cabinet.

Ngige was also recently reported to have engaged the Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi in a futile tussle for prominence when he hijacked the governor’s seat at a recent Mass conducted by Arch-Bishop Valerian Okeke at the Onitsha Prisons and rebuffed all entreaties to relinquish the seat.

The diminutive Senator has also been fingered for pulling down and pouring black oil on the APGA candidate’s billboards placed in strategic locations across the state.

Valeria was very pretty when before she lost so much weight, and since she was so full of life and beauty, the girl decided to enter a beauty pageant in 1994 and pursue a modeling career. When she was just 19 Valeria had already lost a lot of weight but still looked very feminine, at 23 Valeria was beginning to look slim and by the age of 24, Valeria Levitina weighed around 38 kilograms.

Valeria now lives alone in Monaco where she gets a lot of the much-needed sunshine her body requires. She can barely feel the taste of food, and going shopping is a terrible ordeal. She needs to know the exact amount of carbs, proteins and fats in the products she buys. Even though she no longer has an eating disorder, Valeria is still not able to gain weight.

The poor girl barely has enough energy to study and do her daily chores. The entire eating disorder has its roots in the girl’s childhood, when her mother used to weigh her constantly and be worried about her weight. The mother was concerned about her daughter being fat, since many women in her family suffered from weight problems…

The saddest part about the whole situation is the fact that she lost weight to be more desirable for the ones around her, and all of her weight loss only brought Valeria loneliness and sadness.

What’s even more sad, is the fact that Valeria gets hundreds of emails from girls in their 20s who say that they want to be just like her, and that she is a source of inspiration for them. In order to make everyone aware of the fact that it is WRONG to starve yourself to death, Valeria agreed to have her destroyed body be photographed.

Lizzie Velasquez weighs just four stone and has almost zero per cent body fat but she'll be the first to tell you she's not anorexic.

The 21-year-old from Austin, Texas, actually eats every 15 minutes just to stay healthy.

The Texas State University student has a condition that is so rare, there are only three known cases in the world. It prevents her from gaining weight even though she eats up to 60 small meals a day.
Lizzie Velasquez has a syndrome that prevents her from putting on weight. She eats high calorie food every 15-20 minutes to keep her energies level high, Lizzie only has Tips and wears padded bra.

She consumes between 5,000 and 8,000 calories a day but her weight has never tipped over 4.3 stone.

'I weigh myself regularly and if I gain even one pound I get really excited,' 5ft 2ins Lizzie said.

'I eat small portions of crisps, sweets, chocolate, pizza, chicken, cake, doughnuts, ice cream, noodles and pop tarts all day long, so I get pretty upset when people accuse me of being anorexic.'

Lizzie was born four weeks prematurely weighing just 2lb 10oz. Doctors found there was minimal amniotic fluid protecting her in the womb.

'They told us they had no idea how she could have survived,' said Lizzie's mother Rita, 45, a church secretary.

'We had to buy dolls' clothes from the toy store because baby clothes were too big.'

Doctors could not make a diagnosis so they prepared Lizzie's parents for the worst.

'They told us she would never be able to walk, talk or have a normal life,' said Rita who has two other children with Lizzie's father Lupe, 44. Lizzie's siblings Chris, 12, and Marina, 15, are both of average height and weight.

The world is expanding, but unfortunately it's not the global economy whose waistline needs to go up a size.

The rate of worldwide obesity has been marching higher at an extraordinary rate for more than three decades now. According to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, known as the OECD, fewer than one in 10 people were considered obese in 1980. As of 2011, 19 of the 34 OECD countries have a majority of their population that's either overweight (defined as a body mass index above 25) or obese (a BMI of more than 30).

A growing problem
The reason for higher obesity rates is pretty simple among the world's economic powerhouses: living conditions, education, and incomes have been improving. Certainly the diverse eating habits of different cultures has some bearing on this as well, but the trend has been unmistakably higher across all OECD countries.

The concern with obesity is that it puts people at higher risk of developing certain cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and even certain types of cancer. Furthermore, if you add in the lost production caused by obesity-related ailments on top of these health care costs, obesity costs are more than 1% of the total U.S. GDP!

''MOSQUE BOMBER SENTENCED TO LIFE IMPRISONMENT FOR MURDER

 

 

A Ukrainian student has been jailed for at least 40 years for the murder of an 82-year-old man and plotting explosions near mosques in racist attacks.

Lapshyn, 25, stabbed Mohammed Saleem in Small Heath, Birmingham on 29 April - five days after arriving in the UK.

On Monday, he admitted murder as well as plotting to cause explosions near mosques in Walsall, Tipton and Wolverhampton in June and July.

Mr Saleem was stabbed to death, just yards from his home, after attending prayers at his local mosque in Green Lane.

Lapshyn, was living in Birmingham while on a temporary work placement in the city when he killed Mr Saleem, a grandfather of 22.

He later planted three bombs near mosques in the West Midlands as part of a campaign he said was motivated by racial hatred.




 

FOUR PEOPLE ARRESTED OVER BEHEADING OF A 5-YEAR-OLD

 

 

The police in Enugu State have detained 4 ritual suspects for abducting and beheading a five-year-old boy, then cutting his private parts and dumping him in water tank.
It was made known by Mr Ebere Amaraizu, the Police Public Relations Officer, in Enugu on Friday.

According to his words, the victim Promise Osakwe, was abducted by unknown people at his home town in Aninri on October 11.

The body of the boy without the head and the private parts was later found in a water tank.
The suspects from Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State were nabbed in connection with the crime.

In a related development the police have successfully rescued one Chinenye Onyia of Udi in Enugu State form the grip of kidnappers.

Onyia was earlier reported by the husband as having been allegedly kidnapped by unknown persons on October 16, and was rescued in Gboko, Benue.

The police gathered that the victim had been staying with the said James Terkula in Gboko “on a self arranged kidnapping” under the guise that the husband had not been taking good care of her.

A man who met a woman online was shocked to discover that she was actually his son’s wife when they met for the first time.

Wang, the 57-year-old Chinese man, arranged to meet Lili at a hotel in Muling City in the Heilongjiang province when he made the awkward discovery.

If that was not strange enough, Wang’s son (and Lili’s husband) Da Jun had followed her to the rendezvous after discovering her online liaison and was equally disturbed to find his father waiting for her.

Wang said: ‘How could the person who gets a room with me be my son’s wife?’

In a rage, his son Da Jun allegedly beat Wang and his wife causing her to lose three teeth.
Wang, who used the online alias ‘Good at understanding others,’ had retired two years before and enjoyed meeting people online.

Lili was a stay-at-home mother and her husband Da Jun was a long-haul cargo truck driver who spent long stretches away for work. She went by the alias ‘Lonely flowers and plants’.

The pair met on an online chat room one night and decided to send each other a picture of themselves. Lili sent a photograph of an attractive friend while Wang sent one of a friend from his days in the military.

Happy with what they saw, the pair arranged to meet at a hotel in the city at 6pm one night.
Wang claimed to be the director of a company and that he was single after his wife had died two years before.

Lili said her husband was serving a five-year jail sentence for brawling and that she lived at home with her son.

On the day of the fateful meeting, Da Jun arrived home from a long-haul trip from Harbin ahead of schedule only to discover Lili’s online discussions with ‘Good at understanding others’. He also saw evidence of her rendezvous plans.

In a bid to catch her red-handed, Da Jun phoned his wife and told her he had to leave again for work. Not suspecting the ruse, Lili dropped their son off at her parent’s house and travelled to the hotel.
When Wang opened the door, Lili was shocked to find that the man was in fact her father-in-law. In shock, she said, ‘this was a misunderstanding,’ and turned to leave the hotel when Da Jun revealed himself and confronted the pair.

Da Jun said: ‘I’m out there working my ass off to earn money, half-dead with fatigue, and all the while you two are messing around.’

As he beat his father, hotel staff called the police who detained all three.
Officers from the Bamiantong Town Muling City police station questioned Wang and Lili while Da Jun was detained for five days for assaulting his father.
